CRN Rainbow Companionship Program
From understanding needs to looking out for one another
In the previous stage, through a short questionnaire, we heard the real situations and voices of many Chinese LGBTQ+ community members.
Thank you to everyone who filled out the questionnaire and left your thoughts.
Now, the Rainbow Companionship Program is officially entering the next stage: building a real mutual-aid network.
We believe that when traditional family structures cannot fully provide support, the community can become each other's most important reliance. Starting today, we are opening two registration channels, inviting those who need help and those who are willing to provide help to see and connect with each other here.
Two ways to join:
🤝 I need help
If you meet any of the following conditions, you are welcome to sign up:
Seniors aged 55 and above who need daily companionship or assistance due to limited mobility or life constraints
Community members under the age of 55 who need support in daily life from others due to major illnesses or other reasons
Whether it is companionship during grocery shopping or medical visits, a helping hand with daily chores, or simply wishing to have someone nearby to contact and no longer face life alone, you can express your needs here.
🌈 I want to volunteer
If you are willing to provide support for people in need within your community in your own city, you are welcome to join our city volunteer network.
No professional background is required, just a heart that is willing to reach out. Your companionship might be the peace of mind someone is waiting for.
What you need to know about registration
Registration information is only used for matching and contact in the Rainbow Companion Program, and we will carefully protect your privacy
The matching between help-seekers and volunteers will be carried out progressively based on their cities and actual needs. Please wait patiently for us to contact you
