Service Team

The support hotline is run by the CRN volunteer team, and we look forward to meeting you online. The hotline team is committed to providing everyone with diverse, high-quality services. The hotline volunteers include men, women, and non-binary individuals, with sexual orientations including gay, lesbian, bisexual, and pansexual. The volunteers are passionate about serving the LGBTQ+ community, and their professional backgrounds are primarily in psychological counseling and social work, as well as psychiatry, journalism and communication, and gender studies.
All volunteers undergo professional training in online listening and resource guidance before they begin taking calls. We would also like to introduce Dr. Jin Wu, the hotline's professional service consultant, who provides hotline volunteers with training and guidance on hotline skills twice a month. Dr. Wu is a clinical psychologist in the United States with extensive professional experience and long-term involvement in advocating for LGBTQ issues. Dr. Wu sent her best wishes to CRN, hoping that the peer support hotline can contribute to improving the living environment of sexual minorities in the overseas Chinese-speaking world.
